Mai Chau – Pu Luong 3 Days 2 Nights Tour From Hanoi

TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau (L, D) 150 km

Morning 

07h :  Pick-up at Hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter to go to Mai Chau. Pass by Thung Khe Pass for a spectacular view of Mai Chau Valley

11:00  Arrival in Mai Chau homestay and check in

12:00 Have lunch with local delicious food and enjoy some free tim to acquaint yourself with the villagers.

 Afternoon 

15:00 : ride a bike to the remote villages, discovering the natural beauty of the valley and the culture of the ethnic minority Thai people on our  visits to the Lac, Pom Coong and Na Phon villages.

 17:00 : Return to your stay for a relax or help preparing the evening meal  to learn about the local food and culture ( require first )

19:00 : Enjoy dinner with new delicious and special dishes

Overnight : Mai Chau homestay – Dormitory or deluxe private room  

Day 2: Mai Chau –Trekking – Ha Noi (B,L)

Morning 

06:45 – 07:30  Have breakfast at Mai Chau Rustic House. Enjoying cool morning atmostphere of Mai Chau

09:00– 12h:00: Go to Pu Luong which is far from Mai Chau about 40kms by car. Trek 6 Kms (3 hours) inside the Pu Luong Nature Reserve ( Trails and trek is suitable for everyone) . Follow the small roads through the rice terraces to visit the remote rural villages of Black Thai Minorities to discover the local lifestyle and explore Kho Muong local  Cave which is the largest natural unspoiled  cave in Pu Luong. Definitely you will be surprised at its beauty

12h30 : Time for lunch in the Pu Luong and relax in the infinity swimming pool 
             
Afternoon

15:00 : Easy Trek to do bamboo rafting experience and see giant water wheels 

19:00 : Time for dinner at the lodge and relax at night
Sleeping : Pu Luong eco garden , Traditional dormitory stilt house or Deluxe Room with Air-con and private bathroom

Day 3: Pu Luong – Hieu Waterfall trek (B,L, )

Morning

07:30 – 08:30 = Have breakfast at Pu Luong Eco Garden. Enjoying the breathtaking view from the lodge

09:00 – 12:30 = Board the car to Hieu Village and start a medium or easy trek. From there , follow the small road, trail through the terrace, rice fields, and jungle to reach Hieu Waterfall. You can swim at the waterfall to enjoy the nature , the cool water bring definitely the feeling of enjoyment 

Have lunch by the waterfall.Then go back to Ha Noi in the afternoon

Afternoon

14:00 : Leave Pu Luong to go back Ha Noi

19:00 : Arrive in Ha Noi, drop off at your hotel in HaNoi Old Quarter. Finsh 2 days and 1 night exploring Mai Chau and Pu Luong . Thank you for using our service.
